Last Day in Saigon

25/01/2012 12:30 PM

So I leave Saigon in about an hour for the airport. The morning has been quite nice. I'm back on an earlier schedule, getting up around 6:30, and I’m relatively happy to be leaving. It is most definitely time for a change, but I missed the Mekong Delta, however, I can always come back.

So I had breakfast around 7 AM and came back to my room to pack. At 10:30 I hopped on a moto-taxi and headed down to the river to find the Lunch Lady. I am disappointed, as she is not open during the Tet Holidays. So no soup for me, I will have to visit her on my next trip. Vietnam has an infinite number of things to do, but like I said, it is time for me to go, leaving plenty to do for my next visit, either this year or in the near future.

So in 10 hours I will have arrived in Kuching, my home for the next few days and possibly longer. Vietnam has treated my Oh so well, but its time to move.

That's all for now. Going to finish packing and say my goodbyes.
